I have one query. For floating head type heat exchangers, though bolting @ floating head is exposed to shellside fluid, we do not consider any corrosion allowance. For carbon steel exchangers, floating head bolt material is LAS (SA 193 B7M). Here for this case, wheather we should consider corrosion allowance for bolting or not?
