Hi all. We are trying to form welded SS 410s SA516-70 plates heads that are claded together. These plates are cracking from the weld joints. We are forming this in cold stage. I have couple of questions. 1. Is PWHT needed after welding the ss 410s materials. 2. Can SS 410s be formed in cold stage or needs to be in hot stage. 3. If formed in hot, should it be heated up to 900 deg or to 860 and formed with in 700 deg range. Your guidance will be appreciated.
