Mumtaz You may not get a definite standard available. "Shock & Vibration Handbook" and ASME OM-S/G 1990 may be a good guideline for acceptance level of vibration. For piping, try ASME OM-S/G-1990, Part 3 "Requirements for Preoperational and Initial Start-up Vibration Testing of Nuclear Power Plant Piping Systems" It is not a "code", but a non-mandatory guide. Hope this helps C.V.Srinivasan Nishi Engineers Pvt Ltd India April 30, 2009 E-mail: nishi@vsnl.com >Hi All, > >Is there any standard or guide line available for >measurement of vibration on piping and structure.
