"Is there any known cases of SCC of SS 304 in presence of acidic sulfur containing species in the temp range of 90-120C?"


We know of polythionic acid SCC which can occur to sensitized austenitic stainless steels upon exposure to aqueous, oxygenated sulfur compounds. It typically occurs in hydrotreating units during shutdowns when the sulfur-containing acids condense on SS surfaces.
