"Vascowear"

"I am in search for a Vanadium Steel called Vascowear. My understanding is that a company in California who made this went out of business. Is there a substitute steel that come close to Vascowear's chemical composition?"
Answer:
Vascowear is/was a alloy steel manufactured by Teledyne Vasco. It is/was commonly used as forming rolls, dies, shear blades, etc. Its composition is as follows:

C = 1.12 (wt. %)
Si = 1.2
Mn = 0.3
W = 1.1
Cr = 7.75
Mo = 1.6
V = 2.4
Fe = Bal.
