Petrochemical

Diverse challenges, diverse solutions.

The Challenge:

Chemicals cause corrosion.

It’s the nature of many chemicals to be corrosive. It’s challenging, then, just to find the right metals and alloys to contain these chemicals. But, however appropriate these alloys are, they are still subject to corrosion.

High and low temperatures add their own challenges.

Processing units are built where they’re needed. Often those locations are subject to extreme high and low temperatures. These conditions put their own strain on the integrity of equipment.

These diverse conditions create a host of challenges. Solutions must be tailor-made to each specific environment, or a lot of time and money can be wasted. We are specialists in custom solutions for these challenges.

Our Response:

Analysis, remediation, prevention

The Hendrix Group has deep roots in the petrochemical industry. We have conducted thousands of failure-analysis investigations involving corrosion and mechanical-related failures. These investigations have led to site-specific solutions for corrosion monitoring, corrosion control, asset-integrity management (AIM), inspection and analysis of equipment, and piping failures.
