Hello, Which is the better alluminium alloy to be sued for sea coastal area, 6061 or 6063 ? Best regards, Rahimi

Rahimi: 6063 is rated slightly more resistant than 6061; however, depending on the use and the specific environment, a noticable difference may or may not be observed. The 6xxx series of aluminum alloys are noted for their high strength. For immersion service other aluminum alloys may be better, including the 1xxx and 5xxx. Hope this helps!
