321
Hello to one and all, I am living in China and having great diifficulties in outsourcing the material I usually use in our production lines. (304 and 316,316L) We build machinery for PCB production lines using Sodium and Potassium hydroxides for stripping resists. The usual grade 316 is not very common and 304 is not ideal what effect if any would 321 have in the above mentioned solutions? we run low concentrations 3-10% and the temperature range from 45-60C. Thank you in advance G. Artes grartes@yahoo.de

Artes: Type 321SS should possess similar resistance to your stated hydroxide environment as 304SS and 316SS and should provide acceptable service as long as the concentrations or temperatures do not increase. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
