Hello! I am wondering if the use of standard plastic drums is ok for the storage of soil and/or rainwater that is contaminated with Sulfuric Acid. Thanks for your help!

There are many types of plastics and you weren't specific, however, most commercially available thermoplastics should be able to handle dilute sulfuric acid at ambient temperatures. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.

i'm wondering the same for our facility. the sulfuric acid concentration will be %7E93-94% . curently, we have a metal tank (CS) which needs repairing or replacing. the decision has been made to replace, but i never thought about using a non-metal tank. the tank will have no more than 15psi and will typically vary in temp from ambient to <= 100°F. can you recommend suitable tank material/type?
