Hello, I hope that someone can help me. I am currently revising a manuscript in which I have to discuss the differences between Stainless Steel 316L versus biological implant grade 316SS. What are the differences between both types of SS? Please respond here or better yet, please reply to lucleves@hotmail.com. I wish to thank you in advance for your help. Luc

Need more information. 316L is low carbon 316 stainless steel. I am not sure what your 316 "implant grade" is, but 316L is used by many. You should talk to your steel supplier or get a clearer definition of what your 316ss is.
