Can Al metal spary be applied to martenstic stainless steel to improve its corrsion resistant in Harsh Laden marine enviroment .If not what is the alternate material that can satisfy mechanical properites ( 110 YS-Ksi ) and corrosion resistant . Regards

Adam: Aluminum, applied as a thermal spray, is sometimes used to protect a component in seawater service. The aluminum acts as the anode in the corrosion process, protecting the substrate. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
