Hi, I'm looking for material for pickling hooks used for pickling in hydrochloric acid (15%, temp. 40 °C(=140 F)), where some ferritic ions are present in hydrochlorid acid. Do you have some idea? Regards

Dear Sir: You might consider one of the nickel alloys for your application, i.e., alloys C-276, C-22, C-2000, etc. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
