Dear Sir: It depends on the chlorine content and what else is in the water. Many surface condensers use brass tubes, some use copper nickel. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.

Dear Sir, Thanks for the reply. If we use Admiralty Brass tubes, what is the maximum chlorine content ( in percentage ) we can use. Please advise i.e., cut-off percentage of chlorine content. Sir: I'm not sure why chlorine would be present in a surface condenser, assuming that you are condensing steam. David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.

Dear Sir, Although we are condensing steam in the condenser, water will be used as cooling media which contains chlorine content. Hence we would like to know what is the maximum percentage of chlroine we can limit in the water which is a cooling media here. Regards, N.RAMESH
