Sir: At those temperature you may want to consider a regfractory lined tank. In addition to the elevated temperatures, calcination operations can result in corrosive high-temperature environments difficult to handle with metallic materials. A specific recommendation would require detailed knowledge of the high-temp environment. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.

Dear Wookier, Normally in calcaiation procees the reaction occure inside the vessel is endothermic and the heat of the burner absorbe by this reaction so the skin themperature of the thank would not be as high as you mentioned.Is your vessel static or rotate during operation.Do you measured the skin temperature by pyrmotre or not. I guess that temperature will be around 400 - 500 C so the material ASTM A515 Gr 70 will be recommended. Masoud
