We are looking at drying a 30% salt (NaCl) water solution in a Pan Dryer. We expect the skin of the dryer to reach 500 degrees F and the drying will be done close to atmospheric pressure. The dryer material is 316L. Should we be concerned about Stress corrosion? We need the Dryer to last no more than 2 years. After that it will be scrapped. Thanks, Rob Wagner Creative Engineers, Inc.
