Can someone tell me which product has superior corrosion resistive properties, in an marine enviroment, powder coated marine grade aluminum or powder coated 304 SS? And why?

The degree of corrosion resistance in these two situations is dependent mainly on how good the powder coating is. When you consider corrosion resistance of these items you are really asking how good the adhesion is to the metals, and how pinhole free the coating is. 304 stainless steel is NOT good enough for marine environment. If you want to be certain that you can get good resistance you should use 316 or better, even if powder coated.
