In designing a new u-tube heat exchenger for heating ammonium chloride solution we need to choose suitable material for the tubes. the temperature of the solution ( in the tubes ) is 25-30 C and the steam in shell is 150-160 C. We think of Hastelloy B for the ubes but would like to know if there are other choices . Your comments would be appreciated. masoud
