What typical fasteners are used in fresh water cooling tower applications for gearbox holddown bolting.

I believe that 304/316 SS fasteners would be a good choice. We have the failed bolt at Exponent for failure analysis at the present time. With our circulating water 304 has failed. SSC am wainting on a recommendation on material change.
