After reviewing Kynar and Titanium options, the Titanium option will be only marginally more costly than the flanged Kynar. It is thought that the high corrosion resistance, long life and safety of a flange-less Titanium system more than makes up for the price difference and this option has been chosen. Thanks for all the references.
