Dear All We are in manufacturing PVC stabilisers, as the reqirement of process temperature is high between 30-330 deg celcius & highly acidic @ pH < 1.0, we are using glass lined reactors. The process temperature rises gradually to @300deg celcius & then cools gradually to room temperature. As the glass lined reactors are very fragile. the glass lining of the reactor is chiping due to thermal shock. Pl. suggest if there is any alternate for glass lined reactors which is compatible for the above process

Kindly specify what type of glass was used in the subject vessel.Nowadyas composite type glass material is available to withstand the thermal shock as well as service temperature.
