I would like to ask you if you can help me. I have a friction machine made from stainless steel 304 and i want to use it with a solution of 2% of sodioum hypocloride in an enviroment of Naoh propably in a PH higher than 11. Will the SS304 resist to this concetration of the hypocloride or i have to use an other type of SS. Thank you.

I would not trust 304 stainless steel in the presence of any chlorides in this concentration. You should use at least 316 grade or 2205 Duplex to be sure you do not have corrosion.
