Hi all, I am a member of a yachting forum which has seen much debate about the metals used in skin fittings and valves for passing water in and out of the hulls of GRP yachts. There seems to be a lot of confusion over Bronze, Brass and 'DZR bronze' if thats the correct term. I am considering replacing all my seacocks with Valves shown at http://www.aquafax.co.uk/pdfs/01_cat.pdf. Since you guys are likely to be knowledgeable in this area - will this CZ132 alloy do the job without risk of the boat sinking due to corrosion ? best regards & thanks for any responses - I'll feed it back to the yachting forum. regards, Aidan.

Looking for the best materials for yacht plumbing ? I understand that gold is very noble and resistant to most corrosive envirns. We, of course, would not want your boat to sink....
