Dear experts, Is there anyone one that has any experience with benzene and cumene storage? What materials can be used for the storage of these chemicals? The concentration is 99%-100% , stored at ambient temperature. I would be grateful if anyone can share their experiences. kind Regards, Ndi

Dear Ndi77: Benzene and Cumene should be able to be stored in a 304SS vessel or tank. Under your stated conditions, the material is not corrosive, so the use of SS would be primarily to prevent iron contamination in the finished product, in case there are ppm iron specs. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
