Is there any easy, prompt technical tips/tools to identify whether it is a forged or wrought item in Receiving Inspection Stage, other than etching ? regards

Debasis: A forged product is a "wrought" product (as opposed to a cast product). If you are referring to forged vs. rolled or manufatured, you might tell from the surface finish or a forging parting line if closed die forged. David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
