I would like to know the role played by the bulk density in the rock wool/mineral wool insulation mattress used for insulation purpose in the temperature ranges from 100 Deg.C to 500 Deg.C.We found low values (10 to 20 % less than the required value )after testing the insulation material.Whether bulk density is calculated based on inuslation thickness? with advance thanks,
