To prevent High Sulphur corrosion at High T we used to follow McConomy Curves and Correction factor graphics. It has been normally granted that to have judicious resistant to Suphidic ( Sulphur compound breakdown and H2S evolution) MOC should have 0.15%Si as a bare minimum. Please share your knowledge/ basis for this Si effect. regartds
