Hi gents. After I investigate our crude unit fouling and I end up with main cause for the preheat train fouling concern .Actually I found the main contributor is the slop oil that had a large amount of the iron sulfide that accumulated at the preheat tubes . In regard to that please could any one add some light to this problem since we can not stop recycled slop oil to crude unit . Thanks

Mark: Have you considered adding a filter in the feed line to the unit? Or probably two in parallel so that one could be bypassed for cleaning and not shut the line down? David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
