Hi LIMA Just being curious about the nature of crack and its' orientation. Whether the cracks have any particular orientation or these are random ? I mean whether the cracks are aligned longitudinally or circumferential or have a spiral like orientation ? Regards

Steam injection is done on top of the 48 inch pipe 1 meter way and downstream of the circular cracked weld. Cracking pattern - is a straight line. Cracks are random the butt weld joint, on top part of the pipe, 600mm length at each side above the diameter of the 48 inch pipe. Regards Luis Marques
