It has been true & experienced and published in various forums that Plates & Pipes are much more susceptible to HIC ( SWC. SOHIC) compared to catsings & Welds. A discussion / comments invited pl. regards

In my opinion, plates (including pipes from plates) are more susceptible to HIC
