Pme C.A. cannot be generalized for the same material unless process and mechanical design conditions are known from initial design concept. C.A. factor is given / or taken by process designers taking into account the service duties, service temp and service pressure and other conditions like flow, velocity and based on metallurgy of materials used. What is given or taken as C.A by a particular process design licensor or mechanical designer based on a particular process cannot again be equated to another process design and another mechanical design - even for the same material.
