I am looking for any literature available on how to predict remaining life of Outlet Manifold Headers (Hot Collectors) of Primary Reformer Furnaces in Ammonia Plants. I would very much appreciate if anyone can help me.

There is a good paper on this subject in the site bellow, which can act as a guide for your search. www.cokedrum.com/pdf/NPR200Paper.pdf Regards Luis Marques

Thank you, Mr. Marquez, for the reference. However, it does not answer my basic query, ie, life assessment of Outlet Manifold Headers of Ammonia Plants. As you know, the failure modes and causes of failures of Headers are completely different form those of Heater Tubes. Regards, Kochappan.
