I wish to know what are the permissible stress limits for cold bending of small bore piping e.g.1/2" to 1" pipes to substitute for standard 45/90 deg. bends (of CS metallurgy) What are the governing standard/code for this? What will be consequential effects if these piping are used in high temperature/high pressure/corrossive systems? Can this please discussed in detail?

What is your reason for looking into this information? Are you investigating failure or something else.
