A pressure gauge to check pressure of Crude oil at 150 psi and 175 degrees Centigrade in our yard started leaking. It was observed that the Bourdon tube broke from the socket (exactly on the brazing) in the gauge. The tube and socket appear to be made of some copper alloys. Any comments ?

What would be a safe working temperature for a brazed component ? Any Brazing experts - could it be that 150 degrees C was too high a temperature to keep brazing intact ? Could I have expert comments from some Brazing Experts in this forum please ? Cheers !
