Is 317 stainless steel available as low carbon grade titanium stabilized? If yes, who can supply this material. It is for furnace tubes.

For low carbon grade you have to order S 317L grade. But in general this category of steel is not stabilised by TI. This steel has one step up in Cr, Ni & Mo compared to SS 316 and thus offers improved general and pitting corrosion resistance and stress rupture strength. You may contact at NRoss@AlleghenyLudlum.com for supplier outlook. regards
