Dear all, Water Tank Bottom and complete internals are coated with 1.5 mm thk. Vinyl Ester Glass Flaked Epoxy. Water is having appreciable population of SRB ( planktonic & sessile) and large tank bottoms can become good breeding ground for the SRB. The question is whether Vinyl Ester Glass Flaked Epoxy is resistant against attack of SRB i.e. whether Vinyl Ester Glass Flaked Epoxy can become food for SRB where SRB can eat out (puncture) the coat and both water & SRB can penetrate upto the coat/bottom plate metal interface and can cause rapid/progressive pitting corrosion. Pl. share your views/experiences. regards
