My wife has aluminum cookware. The screw holding the handle on lid broke. I'm having difficulty finding a replacement aluminum screw. Would a stainless screw corrode (galvanic) especially exposed to the steam in cooking? Thanks in advance. Greg

You can always get galvanic corrosion with two dissimilar metals in aqueous solution. If you get a good grade (austenitic) of stainless screw you should have a minimum problem with the amount of time you will be exposing it to the steam. You could also use titanium if available.
