Good Day guys, I'm looking for weld overlay procedure of SS 316 to A266 Cl 4 for tubesheet face at tube side. The existing tubesheet cladding is hot press process at tube side and now leakings after 6 years service. We found the leaks at bonded area ( suspect residue stress) and repair process will start from remove the existing cladding and weld overlay back the tubesheet. After that we will send to machining back as per original dimension. The tubesheet 200 mm thk and SS 316 is only 8 mm thk. Tubeside process si VCM, EDC,HCL and at shell side is cooling water. Could anyone can advise me how to rectify it or the weld overlay procedure. Thank you sir.
