I'm look for information on the corrosion rates of carbon steel tank which holds 50 ppm sodium hypochlorite solution. The wall thickness is 3/8th inch. The solution will be in the tank for 24 hours to disinfect it for drinking water. Any information on corrosion rates or whether I should be concerned with the tank corroding away.
