These are not technical questions on corrosion, but I figure I would find a good audience for my questions here. First, I would like to know, how Inspectors working in oil refineries use non-comformance reporting (NCR's), just new construction and/or maintenace work. Please give examples were NCR's would be used? Second, do inspectors use inspection and test plans (ITP's) for general maintenance work (replacing a section of pipe) in a refinery or just new construction (building a new plant)? At the end of your answer please tell me the country that you work or have worked. Thanks in advance for your answer. Scott
