Hello, I%C2%B4m working on my PhD about manufacte and use of Bronze Age swords. For getting to know more about manufacture, I took sampls out of the swordblade. But I%C2%B4m not very familiar with identifying the different types of corrosion. The alloy the blades are made of consists of copper and tin (8-11,5%). You can see one of my corrosion problems right here: http://homepage.univie.ac.at/marianne.moedlinger/PBF/corrosion.tif So I%C2%B4m really wondering what the green part may be - I heard it%C2%B4s not malachite or azurite. Thankyou for helping me!!!! Marianne Moedlinger
