I am looking for information about corrosion problems in 316 SS when pure Methylene Chloride (%7E99.9%) is in contact with HCL (150 ppm) and 3-chloro 2-hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride at 37 degrees C. Is possible to have high corrosion problems?

I would like to know what is the corrodent material in which SS316 is exposed. It is very difficult to predict the mixing solution corrosion rate unless tested in the laboratory. You can get corrosion rate for methy.chloride, hcl etc but not in the mixed form.If you eleborate the operation little bit then i can search for corrosion rate.
