it seems that copper tubes are corroded when there is too much active chlorine (bleach) in water but what is the kind of corrosion (pitting or uniformly, or both.. ) ? and what is the limit (1 mg Cl2 /l ? ) ? thanks

Sir: The coppers do not perform well in oxidizing environments, including bleach. We cannot provide you with a safe limit. Hope this helps! David Hendrix The Hendrix Group Inc.
