despite your pm made statements to wich I cannot aggree, safety is necessary for all people: MR0175 - Sulfide Stress Cracking Resistant Metallic Materials for Oilfield Equipment -is a standard for selecting materials (and properties of materials) against sulfide stress cracking (H2S induced s t r e s s cracking HSSCC) TM0284 - Evaluation of Pipeline and Pressure Vessel Steels for Resistance to Hydrogen-Induced Cracking -is a standard for testing selectied materials (to assure resistance against HIC for the selected material in a given corrosion media). HSSCC / HIC are different mechanisms of H2S (sour media) corrosion you have also to look at other corrosion agens (HCN), pH, pressure and partial pressure H2S and so on. check also the standards of american petroleum standars / rec pract eddie

Fully aggreed with Udayan. Better to refer NACE STD MR0103 which has typical implications to Refinery .
