SA 266
SA 266's maxium carbon content is 0.30% while than of SA 105 is 0.35% (max).... Does an increase in carbon content have any disadvantages?......... thank you

Raghuram Bathula SA266 has 4 grades, only grade 3 has 0.35% C and rest are with 0.3% C, it is generally used for pressure vessels mostly for high wall thickness, self reinforced or large dai forgings, tube sheets etc., since SA105 has limitation for weight (4540 Kg max) other wise Grade 2 and 4 are of same UTS values of SA105
