You might not need to PWHT. What is the thickness of the cladding?

Micro Eng Usually cladded plate thickness (S.S> 316 L) in this case may be around 3 mm from corrosion protection point of view. In extreme cases 6 mm is specified for cladded S.S 316 L. If thickness of C.S and S.S 316 L exceeds the code limits, S.R still may be needed for the C.S plate. Hope this helps C.V.Srinivasan Nishi Engineers Pvt Ltd India Oct 30, 2008 E-mail: nishi@vsnl.com >Hi dear >i have a question in my work >i have a C.S. plate Cladded with S.S. 316L >can we PWHT it? >if we can . how? >best regard.
