I work in a foundry, and I make suports for a petrochemical industries in 50Cr 50 Ni /Cb alloy. Some pieces has a cracks, then when I welded, after cooling a crak too large in the tehrmical zone was detected. my proceding was Heat the pieces 450 a 500C, Weld with electrode welding Them cool slowly at room temperature i have two p%B4roblems -The pieces is too large (2650mm) and I heve problems to maintenance the tempertaure during the weld process. - I haven%B4t sure to the sloow cooling is efficient. What do you think sbout my weld Process? Aguinaldo Gonsalez
