Sorry for that the crack was repaired by welding using the 309L electrode instead of using the 410elctrode. I was requested them to use the 410 ER and do PWHT but what happened as I explained they decided to use 309 L to weld the crack and ignoring the PWHT . From my vision the cracked was due to high hardness almost 350 BHN and the line had stress from the cone inside the column.

I have seen repairs done to 410SS with an austenitic filler metal (only cladding repairs). The austenitic filler metal is more ductile reducing the chance of cracking in the weld metal. When making this type of repair, precautions should be taken to temper the base material with a tempering welding sequence. Scott123
