Is it only fails near by the weld or in other area also.

This is very localized corrosion at base metal immediately adjacent to the socket weld. Note that the weld metal is exertal and does not see the water. Do you have any experience with this type fo failure to share with us?

Can you send me a photo of the failed section to this mail. As you specified the weld is not having any contact with the process fluid.Hence the corrosion due to noble material not araises. send me the failed section photo to this amil.bari_jas@yahoo.com
