Hi everone Can you please tell me the requirement of ferrite contents in welds of 316, 316L, 304 & 304L. Service is water with urea percentage of 1 % and pressure 25 bar, temperature 150 Centigrades.

Ferrite content can vary depending on several parameters - welding current, polarity, welding electrode diameter, process employed etc welder and his skill, the type of weaving used etc For this service, no use in taking ferrite measurement. It is not going to relatively matter for 1% urea concentration and at this temp.
