Can Stellite 6 hardfacing be deposited multilayer or should it be mandatorily single layer ? To create an undiluted weld cap if one do a multilayer ( say 2 layer by 3.2 mm dia TIG filler of 2 layer max. ) with all precautions of preheat, weave, skip welding - can it cause universal cracking problems. ?
